Would you like to spend time with elephants and learn about their stories and behavior in a beautiful setting? Then this half- or one-day activity is right for you.  Located beside Lao people in a densely forested mountainous region, the Sanctuary is surrounded by spectacular jungle scenery.

Activities	Approximately 2 hour transfer time (1 hour to go and 1 hour to come back). At the Sanctuary, you will be allowed to spend as much time as possible with the elephants. Therefore, there is no formal schedule aside from pick-up times.

You will be picked up from Riverside Boutique Resort and drive for about 1 hour through scenic fields, hills, and forests before arriving at the Sanctuary. There, you will meet your English-speaking guide and learn about elephants in Laos, history, behaviors, feeding needs and habitat.

You will walk with your guide through the Sanctuary, where you will find free-roaming elephants and hear their individual stories. You will be able to touch, feed, photograph, and interact with the elephants at your leisure.

You will accompany the elephants to a nearby lake or river and join them in the water for a refreshing bath.Once the elephants are clean, you will be able to take some final pictures with them, change into some dry clothes and eat some snacks and fresh fruit, before enjoying once again the impressive rural scenery as you drive back to Vang Vieng.
